VXL announces a completely new range of thin clients and cloud connection desktop devices for 2013

K54 Entry Level VDI SoC Device 

The K54 incorporates the latest ARM Cortex SoC processor giving excellent performance over remote protocols such as RDP, ICA and PCoIP®. The K54 priced at less than $200 presented in an ultra-slim design is the lowest-ever priced product from the company. Boasting power consumption of less than 5 watts, the K54 meets the carbon footprint requirements of most large enterprises without any sacrifice in performance.

Vtona V200 PCoIP Zero Client 

The new VMware™ certified Vtona V200 PCoIP® Zero Client delivers a superior remote desktop experience for advanced users ensuring a rich multi-media performance including 3D graphics, CAD / CAM, video and more. The highly compact Vtona V200 PCoIP® Zero Client also has no operating system, making it simplicity itself to install as well as manage. Offering users enhanced security, the Vtona V200 is also risk free from viruses / malware and is an extremely energy efficient device, with a low power consumption of only 6.5 Watts. Equally at ease operating on both LANs and WANs, the Vtona V200 comes complete with class-leading specification including 512MB memory, full USB 2.0 (4x) and audio peripheral connectivity and dual DVI connector for multi-monitor support.

Md and Md+ Dual Core Devices 

The Md and Md+ incorporate the powerful new VIA Eden Dual Core processor. The devices offer high performance for thin client users requiring an on board operating system. Both units are available with Linux and Windows embedded operating systems and feature a formidable array of display and peripheral ports. Both units have a minimum 2 serial ports and 1 parallel port with a display and DVI-I port. The Md+ provides users with a PCIe slot allowing for fibre card and multi-display functionality. With 2GB ram and 8GB flash memory the Md and Md+ are guaranteed to meet the vast majority of user’s application requirements.

All newly announced products come complete with VXL’s renowned enterprise level management software, XL manage, and include free lifetime software support, 3 years hardware warranty with optional fourth and fifth year warranty.
